How Many Carbs Are In Avocado Chips

Want to know how many carbs are in avocado chips? Depending on the number of chips you make will depend on the carbs. You take the number of carbs from avocado and cheese and divide it by the number of chips you have. This is a general way to see how many carbs are in the chips.

How Do You Make Avocado Chips

Start by scooping your avocado flesh out and placing in a bowl. Then with a fork or even food processor, you want to mix up your avocado till it is a smooth texture.

Then add in your cheese, and seasonings along with salt and pepper. Feel free to taste and see how you like the flavoring.

Next, you want to grab a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper, and spoon 1/2 a tablespoon of the mixture onto the baking sheet. Use a spoon or spatula to flatten it out in a circle shape, making it look like a chip. The thinner you can get the better texture you will have.

Then toss your avocado chips in the oven and bake anywhere from 10-15 minutes or until the chips are crispy on edge. Flip over the chips and bake an additional 5 minutes or until sufficiently crispy.

Place on a cooling rack and allow it to cool and then serve your chips.

How to Store Keto Avocado Chips

We haven’t had leftovers when I have made these chips. They get eaten so fast it seems. If you have leftovers, I would place them in the fridge, so they don’t spoil. They will soften up as they are stored. You could try putting them in the oven to warm up when you go to reheat if you would like. Just make sure not to overcook them.

What To Serve With Avocado Chips

Avocado chips baked in the oven are a breeze to make. Best of all they are versatile! Serve as a snack or pair with your lunch or dinner for a crunchy side dish.

Can I Use A Different Type of Cheese In Avocado Chips

From what I have seen you can run into issues if you play around with other cheeses. Parmesan is a lot drier of cheese, so it will affect the consistency and could leave chips extra dry. Mozzarella is a lot softer cheese and could make your chips not crisp up all the way.

If you do play around with different kinds of cheese, take into consideration it could affect the texture of your chips. I am not saying you can’t make them work; you might have some trial and error issues along the way. I have not tried making them with a different type of cheese, but if I do, I will report back.

Easy Keto Chips

I will be honest eating keto sometimes can be challenging. Nothing beats a crispy chip and being able to have alternatives like these low carb avocado chips, helps keep me focused. If you love a crispy snack, this recipe might be right up your alley!
