In a medium bowl add the ground turkey (you could also use ground beef, if you prefer) garlic powder, onion powder, cumin powder, and salt to taste. Knead with your hands to integrate all the ingredients.
Add feta cheese and eggs and continue kneading until all the ingredients are well incorporated into the meat mixture.
Place the almond flour and shaved almonds into two separate shallow plates.
Wet your hands with water or oil and make a small ball of the meat mixture (approximately 2 inches diameter). Roll the balls onto the almond flour followed by the shaved almonds. Place the ball into parchment paper and continue to do the same with the remaining of the meat.
Note these meatballs can be cooked in the air fryer or oven.
For the air fryer: place the meatballs inside the air-fryer, add the tablespoon of avocado oil and cook on 400 F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. (Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to cook the meatballs into two batches).
For the oven: place the meatballs on a lightly greased pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden and done.
Enjoy!
