Is BBQ Sauce Keto Friendly

You will want to buy a keto-approved bbq sauce. You can use whatever your favorite brand is, or shop around at your local store to see what they have. Look for sugar free sauce.  You don’t want a full-on sugar-packed sauce, so make sure to read the labels.

Are Chicken Wings Keto Friendly

Chicken wings can be keto-friendly depending on how you cook them. With the big game approaching, you might be searching for appetizers to have for a big game party. In that case, this recipe is keto-approved and low carb for any dietary restrictions.

What Can I Substitute For Soy Sauce in Recipe

If you don’t want to use regular soy sauce in the recipe, I fully understand. You can swap coconut aminos in replace of the soy sauce. Coconut aminos is a very similar flavor to soy sauce but it is 70% less sodium and contains no sugar. Plus it is gluten-free so if you need a gluten-free option this is perfect.

Ways To Serve Up Low Carb BBQ Chicken Wings

  • Serve as a main meal for your family. Pair with some vegetables or a crisp salad.
  • Whip up with other keto appetizers and make it a keto-approved spread of appetizers to snack on.

You can also pair with a dipping sauce if you would like. This can add lots of flavor to these homemade bacon-wrapped wings. Just make sure whatever dip you use, is that it is low carb as well.

How Long Do Bacon Wrapped Wings Take To Cook

You will start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees. Prep your wings and then layout with space between each wing on a baking sheet. Then cook for 15-20 minutes. Remove wings and flip over and repeat for another 15-20 minutes. Then you brush with sauce and cook an additional few minutes.

But, the key is to ensure your chicken reaches 165 degrees internally. You want your bacon and chicken fully cooked, so you don’t run the risk of getting sick. You can use a meat thermometer to check. Just make sure the thermometer doesn’t touch the bone, or it can make the temperature hotter than it truly is.

How To Store Keto Baked Chicken Wings

You will want to store any leftovers you have in the fridge. The wings will store for up to 3 days in the fridge. To reheat you can toss in the microwave for a quick reheat or even warm up in the oven.

If you heat up in the oven make sure to cover the wings with aluminum foil. This will help to prevent the chicken from drying out as it reheats.
