Greek Chicken Bowl

What I love about this is each person can pile on their favorite toppings and fixings so each bowl is exactly what you want. Some might want lettuce while others reach for cauliflower rice. Or live on the wild side and pile both into your bowl.

What is Tzatziki Sauce Made Of

There are different ways to make tzatziki sauce. You will find for a keto version you will need a lighter recipe. Grated cucumbers, sour cream, dill, lemon juice and more are what you find in tzatziki sauce. Also, this sauce is something to make ahead of time so it has time to blend the flavors of the sauce.

Can You Have Rice On Keto

You can’t have regular rice but a great substitute is cauliflower rice. You can make your own cauliflower rice or buy pre-made in the produce section or even freezer section at your local grocery store. It will take this dish to a whole new level on flavor and keep it ketogenic friendly so you don’t feel guilty.

Can I Double This Recipe

Absolutely! If you want to serve a larger family or a crowd this is a perfect dish to whip up. You can make as much of this as you would like. Just batch cook and then you are all set.

If you want an option for meat you could add in a side of ground turkey as another protein option if you are serving tons of people.

Meal Prep Chicken Bowls

This a great meal prep recipe. There are a few options for advance preparation – you can prepare the chicken in advance and assemble the bowls later, or you can assemble the bowls completely and keep in the refrigerator. Whichever is more convenient for you just wait to add the tzatziki until you are ready to eat!

How Long Do You Cook Greek Chicken

You will want to cook your chicken until it is fully cooked. Depending on the thickness of your chicken you will find it takes only 3-5 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken. Make sure it reaches 165 degrees to ensure the chicken is fully cooked.

When the chicken is done you will notice a clear juice and be able to slice easy and see it is fully cooked in the center.
