So many delicious chaffle variations to try! It’s really fun to see how the chaffle craze has evolved and changed.

What ingredients are in a chaffle?

The original chaffle was cheese and egg. It seems like dessert chaffles typically use mozzarella cheese while, savory chaffles use cheddar cheese. The chocolate flavor comes from unsweetened cocoa powder and stevia extract.

Then pour  the batter in the waffle maker and cook thoroughly. It shouldn’t take longer than a few minutes depending on your waffle maker.

Let it cool off for about 3 minutes. This is important because you want it to get firmer for a more crispy chaffle.
