What is Cloud Bread

If you are new to the Ketogenic Diet or low carb world, you might be new to cloud bread. Cloud bread is such a popular way to feel like you are enjoying bread without the heavy carbs! It is an airy bread that is made with whipped eggs and then seasoned with other ingredients. As it bakes it fluffs up slightly. You are then left with a light and fluffy bread to serve up in sandwich form, pair with dinner or make into pizza as I did here.

Do You Need To Refrigerate Cloud Bread Pizza

Cloud bread does best when stored in the fridge. Just place your cloud bread pizza in an airtight container and then put in the refrigerator for up to three days. You will notice that the bread will take on a softer texture after it has been refrigerated.

Best Way to Reheat Cloud Bread Pizza

The best way to reheat your pepperoni cloud bread pizza is to heat in the oven or toaster oven. Turn oven on to 350 degrees, and place your bread on a sheet pan. Then warm it up in the oven until the bread is thoroughly warmed.

How to Make Pepperoni Cloud Bread Pizza

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat and set aside.

Then grab your mixing bowl and start whipping your eggs until they are light and frothy. If you have a hand or stand mixer, this will come in handy and speed up the process.

Can I Freeze Pepperoni Pizza Cloud Bread

I have not tried freezing these pizzas. But cloud bread itself does freeze nicely, so you are welcome to give it a try if you don’t use up all four or want to make a double batch. Just allow the cloud bread to fully cool and then place in a freezer friendly container or storage bag.

Freeze for up to three months. To reheat, place frozen keto cloud bread in the fridge to thaw overnight. Then warm it up in a toaster oven or regular oven until it is thoroughly warmed.
